For the evening "Interzone at Averechts I did a short live perfomance of 25 minutes. Not too much crowd but the set went well. It was fun.
Lab 30 #6

Short set of just over 20 minutes with fieldrecordings in a Dutch forest and vocal sounds.
Orphax versus The Village Orchestra
August 19th: McSorleys, Glasgow, Scotland.
Yes, yes, the first performance by me on British soil. The first 20 to 25 minutes I played solo and after that Ruaridh Law of the Village Orchestra jumped in to make it some great music with me. I think this is among the loudest things I have ever done and that made it actually really fun to do. The recordings worked out and will be available soon. Keep an eye on the start page and the mp3 releases page.
Gruizig & Prettig
May 15th: Cul de Sac, Tilburg.
It was a fun evening with performances by Christian Toonk, Wouter van Veldhoven, Soccer Committee, The Puddle Parade and me.
My live set contained some heavy drones, some ballroom music and a part feedback fun. I made some recordings that I might put those on the site at a later time. I still have to listen those back.

TAC
January 19th, 2006, Eindhoven
January 19th, 2006: TAC, Eindhoven
This would be an evening with Wouter van Veldhoven and aMute, but because of bad luck Wouter couldn't play, which was really a pitty.
My live set was ok. I did two parts, one of pure improvisation with audiomulch, melodica and glockenspiel and one that was already programmed for some parts, which had beats and drones in it.
Badly enough the recordings were not so good so I have decided not to put them online. Maybe I change my mind on this one time, but don't think so.
Interzone
October 1st, 2005, Theater Kikker, Utrecht

This was an Ambient DJ set, which went really well. I played some nice records and got even a few comments (positive ;)).
At the festival some really nice artists will played live, like Janek Schaefer and Mitchel Akiyama. More info can be found at http://radiantslab.com/interzone/

Lab 30 #3
November 7th, 2004, Augsburg, Germany.
I did a 23 minute solo show. A 7 minutes long improvisation with the village orchestra where we used only voiuces as sound input. These are both for from scene.org
Another improvisation performance I did with Psy-Sci and toyzRme wasn't recorded because I pressed the wrong button on the minidisc recorder. So badly enough it can't be heared back.
Lab 30 #2
May 15th, 2004, Augsburg, Germany.
This was my first gig ever outside the Netherlands. I played on the same evening as Kilowatts & Vanek.
This was a very nice evening, the only bad things was my laptop crash. The whole set of almost 1 1/2 hour can be downloaded from scene.org. It includes the cursing I did when my laptop crashed.
Vrienden van Brand live #1
April 1st, 2004, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This performance was at a special party in Unveristy. One of the commissions of the studentorganisation of the faculty for Earth Sciences existed for 5 years. They decided to organise a festival. They also asked me to play there, so I did. It was lots of fun, although the set didn't go very well. Temporarily not for download.
Uilenpop
September 5-6th, 2003
Live performance as Alan Ford. Alan Ford was LB Electronix, Marnix bij de Vaate and Orphax as one group. We played a live improvisation of 4 1/2 hours with 3 computers, sythesizers, a record player and lots of other small things. We of course had lots of fun. Too bad there aren't any recordings, but hopefully in the future we can make some.
