I have been asked by op3n.net to make a mixtape for their mixtape series. And of course I did this.
The mix has been released this month and I can say I really love it myself. Some really nice tracks are on it, including some of my own previously unreleased songs.
My own songs that are on it are "Onder het Noordelicht", When Jeffrey Finds The Ear (Daigoro's Falling Into The Sea Mix) and The Marcia Blaine School For Girls - Still (Orphax Treatment)

It has been a long time since my last update. The last live set is some months ago already. It was ok, but not briljant, I am not happy about the recordings, so I will probably never post it on the website. If I change my mind I will post it here.
A live set with Zonderland, the band I play in has been done, which went well.
My thesis is still not finished, which is also one of the reasons there is no new music, but I am working on this.
I have become an uncle on the day of the previous update. It's a boy and his name is Iker.
He's cool and he got his first cd's from me, being Raymond Scott - Soothing Sounds for Babies. Directly starting with nice electronic music ;)
Good, and the last news issue for this time: There is a new Instant Music Tour coming in June and I have been asked to be one of the participants.
It will be 4 live performances in The Netherlands, together with 3 other people. We will do live improvisation.
Dates are as followed:

Lots of things have happend the last few months, though I did not have time to update the website, so here it goes.
On October 27th I did a live performance for the Dutch Mulch Convention (DMC). It was a short set of 15 minutes. The whole evening was set up because the creator of audiomulch, Ross Bencina, was a few weeks in the Netherlands. Other artists were Jos Smolders, Roel Meelkop, Anton Sporz, Mark Morse, Korhan and of course Ross himself. You can now download the performance from the disco.
Also now for download is an interview I did for the program {possible stimulus} on http://www.toxicantradio.net. The show was hosted by Stailfish from Loungingsound
. Besides an interview the show consists only of music by me, you can hear some new music, but also old. Feel free to download it from the disco page.
Last but not least, I will be doing another live set again. On January 19th, 2006. The evening will be at TAC in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The adres is Vonderweg 1, which is opposite of the PSV Stadium.
Other artists will be Wouter van Veldhoven and aMute. So this promises to be a really nice evening.

Next saturday, October 1st, I will do my first real DJ-Set at Interzone in Theater Kikker, Utrecht the Netherlands.
On the same festival will also be live performances by Janek Scheafer, Mitchell Akiyama, Machinefabriek and much more.

A new old track of mine is released on Postunder Records. They have a minimagazine online which also contains some featured music and this time one of my songs is added.
You can now finally listen to the song "New Dawn Fades" which I created about a year ago, but never found something to fit it with.

I started a new project again called "A new house" where I use sounds recorded in my new house as input for the tracks. This is now running together with my project "De tragedie van een liedjesschrijver zonder woorden". I hope I will have more good news on both projects soon, so keep an eye on this page.

It has been a long time since I updated the last time. This was due to my study and also my rest as musician, but now I am back.
I am working on new music for a release that I will probably do myself. The project is called "De tragedie van een liedjesschrijver zonder woorden" Which means "The tragedy of a songwriter without words"
As the name already says it are going to be song tragic songs without words. Expect drones and dark ambient in the vain of "In a long night"

For "In a long night" a new review has been written more than one year after date of release. You can read it here.
Finally at soulseek records the long awaited noise compilation "corrupted cause" has been released. The release consits out of 4 long tracks, which are mixes of several songs.
In the remix are two songs I created, want to hear them just try to figure out which they are ;) Download the release here
If that is not enough, soon the one minute massacre volume 3 will be released on soulseek records, which will also have on song by me: "don't come back" so keep an eye on their site and get it when it is released.
Another nice thing is that on October 1st I will do an ambient dj set at the Interzone festival in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Some really great artists will perform live, more about this later. Want to be uptodate check regularly at their website http://radiantslab.com/interzone/

A new live set, from the performance I did for Netstock Festival 2005 is now for download from the discography site.

The performance was really nice, just from my lazy chair, with only one person as audience (Fedde) who also joined in at a very short time just adding more noises.
Hopefully this will take part again next year.

The album "Sand in Boxes is now released. It is for sale through the webshop at Verato project
The artwork is even better than I expected, it fits very good with the music.
The live performance at Proeflokaal was really nice. I did a very short set which contains new music I am working on, that maybe will become some new release.
In this set I used lots of beats and rhythms, something most people wouldn't expect from me. The recording of the set is good and is now for download through disco.
As you could already read, I am working on new music for a future release. It will be less drones and more rhytms. If it is finished I hope to find someone to release it.

Sand in boxes should be out the end of this week. It will cost €8,20 in the limited edition.
Of the limited edition there are only 60 available so be quick. Buy it from the label site Verato project
I am going to work on some new tracks for a future mp3 release on earlabs. Jos Smolders contacted me if I wanted to do something.
I am not yet sure what it is going to be, but I am thinking about a combination of drones and more dance oriented music, but time will tell.

As everyone knows by now the earthquake and the after effects have done so much damage and hitted so much people, therefor something must be done.
If you are a musician or like good music and also want to help go to this website artists support asia and help these people in organizing something good. I will also submit a track for it, which will not be available for download because everyone should buy the cdr's that will be made for this project.
People support the good cause.
For those who are waiting for my new cd-r released on suggestion records, the verato project, the cd with artwork is on the way to Germany.

The new layout is finally working. Everything is updated. All links are working.
The disocgraphy site consist out of one page only now. For free net-releases and live recordings you can scrol down.
Artwork for the upcoming cd-r release "Sand in Boxes" is almost finished. I am still working on the last song, but because of lots of work on university I didn't find the time yet last week, but hopefully this week I manage to finish the last tune. The tracklist will be online really soon.

Working hard on the update of this site you are now seeing.
"Sand in Boxes"cd-r will released by Suggestion Records in the week before christmas. Almost all songs are now finished, I am trying to finish the last ones in the coming week.
The live performance in Augsburg on November 7th was really cool. I played a solo set of 23 minutes and after that I played a short improvisation of 7 minutes with The Village Orchestra. All performances are free for download through soulseek records My own set is also available through the disco page in this website.

Sometimes strange things happen, and one of those things is that you can notice that you are played at the radio. Well this happened to me today. On August 31st, 2004 the song Loneliness has taken part was played on national Dutch radio in the show "Vuile Toon" by the VPRO. You can listen to the show online here.
Also some longer time ago I found out that the song "Glass" was played in the show of John Peel at BBC radio. Of course this is a very cool thing to happen. How he picked up the album from Narrominded where it is on is not known, but it is really nice he choose to play my song. Too bad there is no broadcast of it.

Preparing for the live gig at Lab30 has begun. I will play on the same evening as Village Orchestra, Kilowatts, Stratum and many more artists. More info at www.lab30.de although the sunday I will play on is not mentioned.

After a long delay finally some news. I will be playing at the next Lab30 in Augsburg, Germany again. This time it will be on sunday 7th of November. On the same evening will be Kilowatts, stratum (ears akimbo & new delhi fm), taffmonster and cube. Price will be 15€ for the whole festival that takes place from 4 to 7 November. More info to come.

The cd "In a long night" is now for sale through the discography site.
The performance in Augsburg last week was very good. Got lots of positive reactions. The performance is free for download from www.soulseekrecords.com. There are also some other gigs free for download.
Added two live recordings to the discography website.
